This course provides A refresher course in CPR for healthcare providers who have had
prior CPR Training. It covers helping victims of all ages (including doing ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-mask device, and oxygen); use of an automated external defibrillator (AED); and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO) and skills check. Is intended for participants who provide heath care to patients in a wide variety of settings, including in-hospital and out-of-hospital. For certified or non-certified, licensed or non-licensed healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurses, dentists, dental assistants, hygienists, paramedics, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, physician's assistants, residents or fellows, or medical, dental or nursing students in training, aides, medical or nursing assistants, police officers, and other allied health personnel.

Course Length and Regulations: Length of class varies depending on student. Some students complete the class and skills check immediately, while others take a more relaxed approach. Students must complete the online test with an 84% or better and the cognitive skills check within 60 days in order to receive their certification card. Students not completing the required components of course in 60 days must re-register. Additionally, it is a students responsiblity to schedule their skills check. Because our students schedules can vary, we only schedule skills checks after you've complete your test and print your completion certificate.
