This course provides This Basic CPR & First Aid Course provides the skills to effectively assess and maintain life from the critical minutes immediately following an emergency until help arrives. It covers the general principles of First Aid, Medical Emergencies and Injury Emergencies.
Electives for this course: CPR Training AED Training Environmental Emergencies Is intended for participants who wish provide to provide care for individuals in the event of an emergency. This program is for everyone who wishes to take it.
Course Length and Regulations: Basic First Aid usually lasts 3 hours; add approximately 1.25 hour for each additional elective.
Cost: $45.00 for Basic First Aid and or HeartSaver CPR - when selecting an elective (except for CPR) please add an additional ten dollars per unit and one hour of training time per elective. Example: Basic First Aid & CPR is $45.00 and takes about 5 hours. Add $10.00 for Environmental emergency training plus 1 hour = 6 hours training at a cost of $55.00
Student TEXT Required: HeartSavers First Aid or HeartSavers First Aid with CPR and AED module.
